* « A very handsome twelfth-century copy now or lately in the hands of Messrs. Quaritch in London, which bears the ex-libris of Spanheim in the diocese of Mainz. This belongs, as far as some indeterminate point perhaps in book III, to our 'German' family; then the text changes to the 'French' family, and at the end is the piece De consanguinitate » (Colgrave-Mynors p. LXVII).
