• Texte apocryphe de l'Ancien Testament, sans doute réd. en hébreu (IIe s. av. J.-C. ?, fragments en araméen et en hébreu retrouvés à Qumran), conservé en grec dans un état qui semble du IIe s. (15 ms, Xe-XVIIIe s.). Versions arménienne (IXe s.), slave (XIIe ou XIIIe), serbe, latine (trad. du grec en 1242 par Robert Grosseteste).
• Chacun des fils de Jacob fait, sur son lit de mort, des recommandations à ses descendants. Mélange d'éléments juifs et chrétiens.
